3M has launched an extended range of personal protective equipment (PPE) across around 1,000 Screwfix branches nationwide, offering tradespeople new options for hearing, respiratory and eye protection.
Designed to improve safety without compromising comfort or productivity, the range incorporates features intended to address the everyday challenges of working on construction sites.
Among the new products is 3M WorkTunes Connect, which combines hearing protection with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to stream music, podcasts and audiobooks from compatible devices.
The new Pro-Protect Earmuffs feature active microphones to help operatives communicate clearly in noisy working environments.

For respiratory protection, 3M has introduced its Aura Comfort Cool Flow Particulate Respirator, designed for tasks including repairs to walls, ceilings, floors and roofs, offering protection against high levels of fine dust and oil or water-based mists.
The range also includes Scotchgard Protector Anti-Fog Safety Goggles, featuring improved air circulation, reduced fogging and a curved lens for wider vision.
Meanwhile, the Scotchgard Protector Safety Glasses incorporate a lightweight, thin-framed design and removable foam gasket to help reduce exposure to nuisance dust and flying debris.
To support the launch, 3M has undertaken a national roadshow visiting Screwfix branches, providing product training for staff and opportunities for customers to explore the new range.
Gemma Brown, Key Account Manager at 3M, said: “For PPE to be effective, it needs to be something people are willing to wear all day. That means looking beyond protection alone and considering how products fit into the realities of working on site, where comfort and practicality can make all the difference.”
She added: “Tradespeople should also be able to access quality PPE as easily as they can the tools and materials they rely on every day.”
The new range is available through Screwfix branches nationwide and online.
