A. Proctor Group further strengthens links with roofers

The manufacturer has joined both CORC and the Association of Master Roofers, with MD Keira Proctor stating: “Joining the CORC and the Association of Master Roofers gives us the opportunity to better understand the requirements of roofing contractors.”

The A. Proctor Group has become a member of both the Confederation of Roofing Contractors (CORC) and the Association of Master Roofers.

The Group says it has provided the construction industry with technically advanced thermal, acoustic and membrane products for nearly 50 years, and a history of technical innovation and promoting good practice has led to close links with industry, allowing the Group to keep pace with the evolving requirements of the construction industry.

With this in mind, the A. Proctor Group says being members of the two organisations will further develop those links, and as a 4th generation family business, it recognises the importance of respecting tradition and preparing for the future, and wants to be involved in educating the next generation of roofing professionals.

“Good communication is essential to a healthy and sustainable construction industry,” explained Keira Proctor, Managing Director of the A. Proctor Group.

She continued: “Joining the CORC and the Association of Master Roofers gives us the opportunity to better understand the requirements of roofing contractors. Accordingly, we can explain the benefits of our existing products, and new solutions we develop in future.”

The Group says innovation has run through the Proctor family since its earliest records, and after taking over in 2012, Managing Director, Keira Proctor, has continued this tradition and built on the foundation of trust, honesty, and hard work from the same desk where her father and grandfather made the A. Proctor Group the company it is today.
