We have a vacancy for an experienced Area Sales Representative in the Yeoman Rainguard rainwater systems division of Harrison Thompson & Co. Ltd., who are based in Leeds.
A proven track record in field sales is essential, preferably with experience of selling to the construction market.
Knowledge of self-build, house builder/developer, specification markets would be a distinct advantage.
Though specific training will be provided, the right candidate will already be confident in carrying out basic site surveys and able to carry out these surveys at height.
The role involves travel around the allocated area – Northants, Bucks, Beds, Herts, Cambs, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, London and its outer postcode areas. Therefore, for the efficient servicing of this large area, residing in a central area such as Surrey/Middlesex would be practical.
Reporting directly to the Rainguard Management Team, this position would suit a self-motivated, well organised individual with a wealth of experience in direct selling and managing a large logistical area.
The right candidate will be required to hit the ground running from the start, making use of lead information already available on the company’s CRM system as well as sourcing their own leads and opportunities.
The capability to communicate and build relationships with end users, architects and contractors is a must.
A great basic salary consummate with the position is on offer with the addition of a performance related bonus scheme. A company car, private healthcare (after a qualifying period) and contributory pension will also be part of the package for the successful person.
