The Fixfast Group has expanded its offering following the acquisition of specialist construction fixings provider OSC Sales and its brand portfolio, including Carpenters Mate, Orbix and Optimaxx.
Described as a strategic, values-led acquisition, the company says the deal is designed to support long-term growth, strengthen the group’s offering across the construction supply chain and create new opportunities for innovation and investment.
Fixfast said the acquisition of OSC Sales’ trade merchant division provides valuable insight into the wider construction fasteners market, enabling the business to strengthen its service to customers while remaining focused on its purpose of delivering “Confidence in every connection”.
For OSC Sales, becoming part of the Fixfast Group brings access to UK manufacturing, enhanced technical capability, engineering expertise and industry accreditations, while also improving supply chain resilience.
The companies confirmed it will be business as usual for customers, with OSC’s brands continuing to operate through their established distributor network rather than selling directly to end users. Both businesses also said they will continue investing in people, capability and customer service.
