MILWAUKEE has launched its new M18 High Output 5.0 Ah battery range, designed to deliver improved performance, durability and efficiency for professional users.
The new batteries have been engineered to run cooler during heavy-duty applications, with MILWAUKEE claiming they can support up to 50% more productivity compared with its M18 B5 battery under the same test conditions in medium and high-demand applications.
For contractors looking to minimise downtime, the battery can be supercharged to 80% in 28 minutes and fully recharged in 39 minutes when used with MILWAUKEE’s super chargers.
The design also features easy-to-operate latches that can be used with or without gloves, allowing batteries to be changed quickly in different working environments.
Alongside the standard model, MILWAUKEE has introduced the M18 High Output Resistant 5.0 Ah battery for more demanding conditions. Its chemical-resistant housing provides additional protection against oils, solvents and greases, helping extend product life where exposure to fluids is common.
An enhanced onboard fuel gauge has also been designed for improved readability, including in direct sunlight, allowing tradespeople to check remaining charge and plan work accordingly.
Both new 5.0 Ah batteries are fully compatible with MILWAUKEE’s wider M18 platform, which now comprises more than 325 solutions, allowing existing users to add the batteries without investing in a new cordless system.
