NFRC UK Roofing Awards 2020 postponed

by Matt Downs

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) has postponed the NFRC UK Roofing Awards 2020 until Friday 2nd October due to the spread of Covid-19 in the UK and related decisions made by the Government.

The NFRC says the decision to postpone its annual Awards ceremony follows the Government’s clear advice on the holding of public events during the likely peak of the pandemic. Following consultation with all stakeholders, it has been agreed to reschedule the Event to Friday 2nd October 2020. Regular updates will be posted on

NFRC Chief Executive James Talman said: “The UK Roofing Awards is the roofing industry’s flagship event and we are all so disappointed that the Event inevitably had to be moved. However, we look forward hopefully to a more optimistic time for everyone in October and to delivering the event to the highest possible standards. We will continue to follow advice and protocol from the UK Government and NHS.

“All tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for Friday 2nd October 2020.

“We urge everybody and their loved ones to keep healthy and stay safe.”
