Wilson and Hamer Construction extended the ground floor of a 1980s home, combining three rooms into a large kitchen and living space with underfloor heating.
To improve comfort further, they insulated the separating floor using Knauf Insulation’s OmniFit Thermal and Sound Slab.
“With a second child on the way, the client wanted the bedrooms to be quieter and to make the underfloor heating downstairs more efficient,” explained Patrick Wilson, Director at Wilson and Hamer Construction.

Patrick added: “We were dealing with varying centres, pipes and other services so being able to use more flexible insulation made the process far simpler.”
