The PIR manufacturer is sponsoring the single-ply category at the UK Roofing Awards and says the event is “the industry’s premier awards event and does so much to promote the excellent work being carried out by members of our sector on a daily basis.”
Recticel Insulation says it is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s UK Roofing Awards.
The PIR manufacturer has put its name to the contest’s single-ply roofing category.
An industry-wide event which is run by the NFRC, the UK Roofing Awards recognise and reward excellence in terms of workmanship and safety standards in the UK roofing industry.
The annual event focuses on a wide range of roofing disciplines. As with each year, category winners will be decided by a judging panel comprising some of the sector’s most distinguished representatives. Their learned verdict is based on numerous project criteria such as workmanship, challenges faced, problem solving, aesthetics, health and safety, and environmental qualities. With nominations now closed for this year’s event, attention now turns to the awards ceremony itself, which this year is being held on Friday November 5th at InterContinental London – the O2.
As a long-established member of the NFRC, Recticel says it aligns itself with the organisation’s values which put an emphasis on quality and expertise in order to deliver buildings that perform as-designed. It also supports the NFRC’s aim to promote roofing as a valued profession – and the work of its skilled practitioners – throughout the construction industry and the wider community. As with its flat roof tapered insulation division, Gradient, Recticel is an advocate for best practice being applied across all strands of the building supply chain, believing that no shortcuts should be taken to achieve sustainable buildings which optimise comfort and wellbeing for the occupier.
Paul Simpson, Commercial Director at Recticel Insulation, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s UK Roofing Awards. It’s the industry’s premier awards event and does so much to promote the excellent work being carried out by members of our sector on a daily basis. We very much look forward to the awards evening itself. It’s an annual highlight and a real celebration of the people and projects which help uphold roofing’s reputation for professional excellence throughout the construction industry.”
