WestWood Liquid Technologies has achieved product conformance with the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI).
The conformance applies to three of WestWood’s core systems, including its PMMA cold roof, PMMA warm roof and PMMA balcony/walkway systems, as the company “…strengthens its commitment to transparency and trust.”

The cold-applied liquid waterproofing manufacturer says this recognition reflects a rigorous process designed to ensure all product information is clear, up to date, evidence-based, and unambiguous – principles that sit at the centre of the CCPI assessment.
Developed in response to industry-wide concerns following the Grenfell Tower fire and recommendations outlined in the Hackitt Report, CCPI is not a formal standard or regulatory requirement. Instead, it serves as a voluntary framework for organisations committed to raising standards in construction product information and rebuilding trust across the industry.

Wayne Chissell, Technical Director at WestWood.
Wayne Chissell, Technical Director at WestWood, said: “Achieving CCPI conformance for these systems is an important step for WestWood and reflects how seriously we take our responsibility as a manufacturer. Gaining CCPI is not just a badge of honour for us, but gives greater confidence that the product information we provide is accurate, transparent and fully evidenced.

“The CCPI process was thorough but has not only validated what we do, but it has also helped us improve how we communicate with our partners and clients. Our team at WestWood have been extremely committed to getting this over the line, which ultimately strengthens confidence in these systems and supports safer, more informed decisions across the industry.”

Across the sector, CCPI conformance supports improved safety across construction projects, better-informed specification decisions, reduced risk for designers and contractors and alignment with evolving building regulations.
